AI automation platform Worlds is taking a deeper foray into the industrial metaverse
Worlds Enterprises Inc., a company creating the 4D infrastructure for building the Metaverse, has completed a $21.2 million Series A1 funding round led by Moneta Ventures. Other participants include existing investors Align Capital, Green Park & Golf Ventures, Chevron Technology Ventures, Piva Capital, PerotJain and Capital Factory.
Worlds is an industrial metaverse platform that brings AI-based automation directly into the field operations of large industrial companies. It allows companies to build highly accurate digital twins of their real-world factories and facilities, linking them to the real world via a variety of sensors that record what is happening inside.
The funding will be used to continue investing in the company’s AI platform, expand key go-to-market partnerships and increase adoption of Worlds’ technology by industrial companies, according to the announcement. Worlds is the trusted AI-based metaverse platform for the largest industrial players such as Chevron, PETRONAS and Hillwood Development Company.
