Omega Royale creators have raised $2.1 million to further develop their blockchain-based tower defense game. This game works on the Play to Mint model.
Omega Royale is set to revolutionize the blockchain gaming industry
Game development studio Tower Pop has raised $2.1 million in funding for its Web3 battle royale and tower defense game Omega Royale. The round was led by Play Ventures and Agnitio Capital and backed by angel investor Santiago R. Santos. Notably, this is his second funding round for the company, with the previous round closing in his early 2021.
Omega Royale is a play-to-mint tower defense game with a mix of battle royale elements. In March, our unique Battle Royale mode will be released in alpha on the App Store and Google Play Store. The Play to Mint model allows gamers to mint exclusive in-game NFTs every time they rank high on the leaderboard. This unique concept has caught the attention of many blockchain gamers, with the game currently recording 60% retention on Day 1, 38% on Day 7, and 16% on Day 30 increase.
Tower Pop co-founders Fredric and Niklas Werman said: “Our mission is to develop games that will be fun to play for years to come, and we’re thrilled to have such a great investor on board.”
