Torque Drift 2’s Garage Preview is now available for download on the Epic Games Store, giving players a selection of Nissan cars that can be customized with a variety of parts. The drivable experience is expected to be released towards the end of the year.
Grease Monkey Games, the studio behind the Torque Motorsport series, has officially launched the garage preview for Torque Drift 2 on the Epic Games Store.
Torque Drift 2 Garage Preview Details
After releasing a new official trailer announcing the launch of Garage Preview, the Animoca Brands subsidiary is now officially live and available for everyone to try for free by downloading it from the Epic Games Store.
The initial version of the game, available for Windows PC, focuses on letting you get creative by building unique drift cars from various parts and components. Choose from a variety of customizable cars that differ not only in appearance, but also in horsepower, torque, weight, top speed, and acceleration, all with stunning visuals. Specifically, the cars you can choose from at the time of this writing are:
- Nissan 180SX: CA18, SR20, Type X, Type X Aero, Sylheity
- nissan 370z (and its variants)
When it comes to customization, you can choose to change various parts of your car, including wheels, lug nuts, brakes, calipers, tires, exhaust tips, steering wheel, shift knob, and seats.

Decorate your car in style and head to the photo booth. A photo booth is a feature that allows you to project your car into a variety of background scenes.
Drivable Experience Coming Soon
For now, the garage is the main focus of this initial release, but the studio revealed in a tweet that it plans to release a drivable experience towards the end of the year. The official store page lists various features as “coming soon” including a drift practice mode, multiplayer, drift battles, community modding, decal editor, paint booth, and more. There will also be more Nissan vehicles, as well as a number of new customizable parts.
