From January 26th to February 8th, The Sandbox will host an official release party for Spinnin’ Records’ World’s Biggest Demo Drop.

Decentralized NFT Gaming World The Sandbox partnered with Warner Music Group (WMG) to host a virtual release party for Spinnin’ Records’ World’s Biggest Demo Drop (WBDD).
In case you didn’t know, WBDD has been the largest annual DJ talent competition for over 20 years. New artists from around the world can submit their best demos for a chance to win an official release on Spinnin’ Records or Musical Freedom.
According to an official statement, this year’s winner’s tracks will not only be released on Spinnin’ Records, but will also be available in NFT form, courtesy of LGND Music.
“Music, technological innovation and the development of talent have always been the cornerstones of Spinnin’ Records,” said Steven de Graaf, Commercial Director and Lesley Quist, Head of Design at Spinnin’ Records says.
“Being able to combine these aspects into one partnership creates the perfect and authentic scenario for our music to thrive and undiscovered talent to be heard. We look forward to discovering and getting involved in the collaboration of Music Strategy, and the biggest world demo drop ever.”
Held at The Sandbox from January 26th to February 8th, the event’s official release party features music from all the winning DJs and virtual appearances by each DJ as an NPC that players can interact with.
Visitors can learn more about these talented artists by participating in multiple quests in The Sandbox. Completing his 80% of them earns him one of the mementos and allows him to share a prize pool of 50,000 SAND with other players.
