The Red Village has Kicked Off the Exclusive Make-Up Cup

According to the team, this special tournament is designed to fix several recent errors in the game.

What you need to know about The Red Village Make-Up Cup

A few weeks ago, The Red Village experienced a technical glitch that affected the performance of some Mystic Champions. In response, the team launched the Make Up Cup (MUC) as compensation for the inconvenience caused.

The event is primarily focused on those affected by the glitch, but there is a prize pool for other players to compete in. First, the championship has three parts or categories:

  • Part I: Only available to Genesis Champions.
  • Part II: All Mystic Champions can participate, even those who didn’t participate during the glitch.
  • Part III: Only for Mystic Champions who participated in at least one tournament during the glitch period (October 18th – November 20th).

The Qualifying Round will begin on November 28th and will last for eight days until December 6th at 9pm ET. Parts I and II (Genesis and Mystics) will have 32 Champions advance to the Semi-Finals and 8 to the Grand Finals. Part III (Mystics Fought During a Glitch) will see 128 champions advance to the semi-finals, 32 to the qualifying finals, and 8 to the grand finals.

Although the categories are different, all tournaments follow the same format. How it works is that only the results of the top 20 consecutive tournaments are counted in each qualifying round. Let’s say your champion participated in his 50 tournaments and had the best results in tournaments 9-28. In this case, only points from tournaments 9-28 count.

During MUC, champions can compete in 8-player tournaments within their class. You can also participate in Bloodbaths. However, one-on-one combat does not count. Leaderboard rankings are calculated based on the total points earned, followed by the amount of damage dealt to the player’s champions.

The MUC prize pool is $2500. In Parts I and II, each Grand Final will have a $500 prize pool, with $350 for 1st place and $150 for 2nd place. Part III will feature a $200 prize pool in each of the four Qualifier Finals, with $140 for 1st place and $60 for 2nd place. The prize pool for the Grand Final is $700, with $490 for 1st and $210 for 2nd.
