Tamagotchi Uni is a new virtual pet toy that allows users to connect to a Metaverse called the Tamaverse, where everyone can gather and enjoy a variety of activities while showing off their customized Uni-Tama.
Bandai Namco has officially announced that the famous toy brand from the 90’s will be making a comeback with the launch of Tamagotchi Uni, a new device that can connect to the Metaverse.
Users of the new terminal will be able to connect to the Tamaverse, called the “Metaverse of the Tamagotchi World,” and enjoy various functions such as Tama Arena, Tama Party, Tama Fashion, and Tama Travel together with the user. You can enjoy a variety of mini-games, such as dancing to match the character’s movements and serving food.
According to the announcement, users of the device will have “endless character options” to customize their virtual pets, with Tamagotchi characters having “different looks, personalities and even hobbies.” Users can connect via Wi-Fi and customize their characters while enjoying a variety of activities using the device’s social platform. With the introduction of wristbands, for the first time ever, users can use the device as a wearable accessory for him, giving voice to familiar Tamagotchi characters.

The company is promoting the brand’s “first global launch of core Tamagotchi” by partnering with TikTok star Charlie D’Amelio to serve as the new device’s global brand ambassador. Charlie D’Amelio promotes global expansion through posting TikTok videos and interviews she said:
“I am a huge Tamagotchi fan and am very excited to partner with the brand to launch an all-new device designed for a new generation. “Enjoy theater in an exciting and interactive new way!”
