Sorare teams up with The Premier League to launch NFT cards and P2E matches
Leading football fantasy game Solare has finally signed a multi-year NFT deal with the English Premier League. The exciting announcement comes after the renowned soccer league revealed plans to sign Solare for its Web3 venture last year.
Through this collaboration, fans will be able to collect, buy, sell and trade officially licensed digital cards featuring players from all 20 Premier League clubs. Users can play with their favorite stars in Premier League-specific football competitions or global football competitions.
Each of these Premier League competitions follows existing Sorare: Football rules and gameplay, with no fees to sign up or play. From the start, the manager can draft his eight players from dozens of professional leagues around the world, including Europe’s top football clubs. Then you can choose your 5-a-side team and enter free weekly tournaments. By doing so, users can win more cards and exclusive prizes to progress further in the game.
But that’s not all. The partnership will also give fans of the world’s most watched football competition, the Premier League, a new way to connect with their favorite players, Sorare said.

Earlier this month, Sorare introduced a number of new gameplay features, including league-specific competitions, draft-based gameplay, and restricted mode competitions. Eventually, these features will be integrated into all Premier League-based tournaments.
