Tezos, one of the popular blockchain platforms, has released its Unity SDK, making it the next opportunity to build a Web3 player. Unity is one flexible platform for building games, and a dedicated SDK allows developers to quickly add his Web3 features to both new and existing games.

Tezos has shown interest in P2E and Web3 games, and has even partnered with UbiSoft to offer an exclusive collection of in-game NFTs.
The addition of Tezos comes after Unity decided to add several blockchains as verified SDKs. The addition of Tezos follows the addition of ImmutableX. Unity has added a total of 13 platforms in its latest Web3 expansion and has placed the SDKs under his Web3 section on the Unity Asset Store.
Tezos Partners with Google Cloud
Tezos is one of the projects that raised over $400 million in token sales, but then it took years to launch the platform and find a use case. Now Tezos is ready to host more games and join his growing Web3 space.
Tezos already hosts dozens of games, most of which are relatively small and unremarkable. The network has multiple mini-puzzles and idle games. With the Unity SDK, Tezos could potentially give access to more complex and finished games.
Tezos applications are deployed using Google Cloud in addition to the blockchain side. Google Cloud itself will also participate as a block producer on the Tezos blockchain, providing additional security.
The goal is to use minimal fees across all apps, while at the same time consolidating transactions for easy acquisition by all players. Tezos still retains regular baker and delegated block producer layers, but this is hidden from game users.
Tezos Program Takes 22 Projects On Board
Tezos is running a dedicated incubator program and has just completed its first round. The Web3 Incubator program hosted 60 founders and his 22 project teams.
The list of projects included multiple Web3 features such as DeFi, Marketplaces, and Gaming Leagues. There were a total of three game-themed projects on the list, one of which was the Open Metaverse.
Tezos also hosted a project to create services and utilities for other startups in the ecosystem.
