Sunflower Land Shows New Rare Items and Badges from the Goblin Wars

Sunflower Land continues to grow organically and is ready for more aggressive updates in the coming months.

  • Both Farmer and Goblin teams can win rare medals.
  • Sunflower Land is back to 8.5K players per day, still close to Polygon’s top spot.
  • No more new farms to cast for now.

Goblin Wars is still about a week away, and Sunflowerland is starting to showcase some of the rare items in the game. Just like farms, the game will offer a limited number of amulets that will have an impact on farm productivity.

Each amulet will promote the growth and harvest of different crops. So far, the team has hinted at amulets for beet and sunflower.

Amulets can belong to both farmers and goblins, and are accessible to all players, regardless of which side they choose. Amulets may also resume NFT trading in-game and serve a similar purpose to farm NFTs.

The game currently has a maximum limit of 151,000 farms, with all new offers of 1,000 NFTs being minted in about a week. Farms are priced at a relatively low 0.01 ETH or less, with 257 ETH traded so far.

Sunflower Land Still the Top Farming Game on Polygon

Sunflower Land still attracts 85,000 players per day and ranks among Polygon’s top successful games.

The game’s native token, SFL, has stopped its decline and established itself at $0.06. SFL still has more uses within the game, resulting in smaller direct sales. Production of SFL will decrease over time relative to resource production. For some players, the decline in SFL prices has been disappointing. However, the game managed to grow organically and lead a renaissance of new agricultural genre games.

Unfortunately, Sunflower Land did not win the QuickSwap competition and did not include tokens in the liquidity mining program. liquidity in SFL remains limited, and the game requires Polygon Network-based MATIC and USDC to pay fees and move assets on the main chain. Most transactions for the Sunflower Land project can be done in-game, without any fees, using the in-game transaction mechanism.

The next resource sink will be the Land Expansion, which will appear in the coming weeks. Players will need access to wood and stone to build larger farms. The type of land will also be different in the land expansion update. In addition to personal farms, there will be Sunflower Town and Gnome Village. Players will also be able to grow resources in community gardens.
