Sunflowerland is sharing more hints about Goblin Wars and a preview of the game’s upcoming avatar, Bumpkins. Announced for September 5th of this year, Goblin Wars will include a lengthy resource gathering process and will pit farmers and kobolds against each other in competition for rare items.
The Kobold Wars will require players to choose a side to support with resources. The war will take place in the form of a weekly event where resources can be exchanged to earn War Bonds, a new in-game currency. War Bonds can be exchanged for eight utility items or cosmetic items with varying levels of rarity. Some items will improve the state of the farm, while others will be used to decorate Bumpkin avatars.
Bumpkin is expected to arrive later this year, but some art and mechanics are being previewed.

Despite the price slump in the SFL market, Sunflower remains one of the most visited games with a high number of players per week. The game rose to the top of Polygon again in terms of weekly players.
Daily user numbers were slightly lower at 69,500 players, with another 100 farms minted in one day. Sunflower Land Grows again ran out of farm minting opportunities, with 100 left before the game reached its maximum.
Sunflower Land Grows, Keeps Up with Top Games
Sunflower Land Grows remains one of the top P2E games on the Polygon network. The game’s influence has made it stand out in terms of player interest and NFT mints, even compared to the most prominent P2E games.
Sunflower is also one of the few games that offers zombie protection and attempts to grow organically. Expect the game to add more complex NFT options and continue to add weekly missions to drive engagement.
SFL rose slightly to $0.06 after news of the game’s development broke. The token is expected to get a liquidity mining mechanic on QuickSwap, which could lead to short-term gains.
