Additionally, the game will bring a new burn schedule for the SFL token. All players will need SFL in their in-game account to participate in the NFT marketplace. The marketplace will be integrated in the game as a fun experience, similar to the current Town Square item exchange from the earlier stages of the game.
SFL currently trades at $0.05, after spending months in the $0.10-$0.08 range. Now, the Sunflower Land team wants to improve the token utility by adding requirements for SFL ownership.
The new marketplace will also include the potential for user-created items, in addition to items produced within the game and the semi-fungible tokens representing skins and in-game clothing series.
Sunflower Land Boosts SFL Circulation
The game introduced a new trade-and-burn ecosystem for SFL. The tokens never leave the game, and the trading is independent of other trading pairs for the token.
The game also added an SFL-priced trading board, where players can acquire resources more readily. Until recently, Sunflower Land relied on third-party tracking for pricing and finding desirable crafted items.
In-game resources are important for the ability to receive bonuses. The game also has a series of holiday and special rare items, usually with an annual bonus.
But the biggest expectation for Sunflower Land is an upcoming mobile app. The deadline for this development is still unknown, but the upgrade is widely expected by the game’s fan base.
Sunflower Land ranks 31 among top games and is in the top 15 of collectible projects. The game’s daily activity on the blockchain fell as more of the trading moved to in-game tokens. Until then, Sunflower Land relied on a high level of on-chain Polygon transactions, giving it a high ranking for active daily users. Despite this, Sunflower Land is highly active even without the need for on-chain transactions.
