Splinterlands Reveals 2023 Roadmap

Splinterlands‘ updated 2023 roadmap introduces DEC batteries, guild alliances, improved tutorials and more.

After releasing the first version of the community suggestion system, the Splinterlands team has revealed an updated roadmap for 2023.

The roadmap is split into three quarters, with all content placed under different categories to make it easier to see which parts of the game affect these new changes.

When it comes to the trading card game’s economics, the developer plans to introduce DEC batteries in the first quarter of this year, with skins and cosmetics scheduled for release in the third quarter. Regarding the release of new cards, we plan to release the Soulbound Reward Card in the first quarter, the Rebellion Card in the third quarter, and promotional card sales on a quarterly basis.

In the market category, the team listed seasonal rentals for Q1, but also card bundles and SPS delegated rental markets for Q2. Guilds will get the Guild Alliances feature in Q2, but improved tutorials and 1-click set rentals for the game are also planned for the same quarter, along with onboarding and introducing more people to the blockchain serves as a welcome change to help Title.
