SHIB The Metaverse, the highly anticipated virtual world by Shiba Inu, recently released the WAGMI Temple alpha preview at SXSW 2023.
The latest update was shared by Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama. In particular, the creators of Anonymous Tokens say that buying virtual plots in the Metaverse has become “as easy as 1-2-3.”
According to U.Today, the SHIB Metaverse is one of SXSW’s most popular highlights. Visitors were seen lining up for hours to enter the SHIB booth to experience the Metaverse and hear stories of pseudonymous developer Ryoshi’s creation of Shiba Inu.

The teaser above shows a 1.46 minute flyover in a virtual land set near a still river. There are beautiful bridges, grazing deer, meditation alcoves, waterfalls, beautiful pink trees and a building that looks like a WAGMI temple. This is one of 11 hubs that will become accessible to the general public once the metaverse is published. There is also a Shiba Inu statue, a must-have item in the SHIB Metaverse.
Kusama also revealed a sneak peek that will be used to compete for best movie poster at SXSW. It’s a teaser.

In addition, SHIB The Metaverse will be built on top of Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s long-awaited Ethereum L2 blockchain.
