Fund Raised Stands At $25 Million In More Than Two Years
Revolving Games has raised another $13.2 million to build triple-A games. The company has raised a total of $25 million in funding over the past two and a half years. Investors include Polygon, Dapper Labs, Sarmayacar, DWeb3 Capital, Kenetic, Pantera Capital, Animoca Brands, Houser and Permanent Capital Partners.
In a statement, Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands, said.
“We love the work we’ve seen from Revolving Games, especially its passion for building a Web3 ecosystem of exciting and unique gaming experiences. We believe Revolving Games has a bright future and are excited to lend our support”.
The company’s team is led by Pakistani brothers and gaming veterans. saad, Ammar and Shayan Zaeem. in addition, Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser, an advisor, will be part of the team. Blockchain technology continues to be the leading technology for licensing digital items, establishing property ownership and allowing players to earn money by playing blockchain-based games.

Saad Zaeem got in touch with Dan Houser a few years ago, and Houser decided to become an investor and advisor after they explored some ideas together. The Pakistani brothers ventured into the Web3 space after many changes, especially after Apple changed its privacy policy.
In an interview, Saad said.
“We were founded in the Web2 era. We were [initially] a mobile gaming company. But we saw that Web3 was where we needed to go, so we did a pivot at the end of last year.”
The company launched in 2020 with a team of 105 talented people from three continents. The first game is a Battlestar Galactica-themed game with partners Gala Games and NBCUniversal. the second game, Skyfall Saga, is an adventure RPG inspired by games like The Legend of Zelda and Animal Crossing.
