The closed beta version of RavenQuest is now live, giving players with a beta key the chance to test out various major new features, including Ravencards, Land Claiming, Test Token Generation, and more.
RavenQuest, a blockchain MMORPG by Tavernlight Games, is now officially live in closed beta with various major new features and improvements for players to enjoy.
Ahead of this latest release, the developers posted an update revealing all of the new goodies they’ve introduced for this version since the game’s alpha launch.
In this closed beta, players will have the chance to Ravencards, Test Token Generation, Production Tiles, Tradepack Priming, Land Claiming, and more.
Ravencards are NFTs found in Ravenpacks, which are currently given out for free for testing purposes through the new quest line, the North Star Quests. In the future, players will purchase Ravenpacks through the game’s official marketplace, with each pack containing 5 random cards. Since the previous alpha, the team has created a total of 192 new fully-illustrated cards for players to use, with every card split into 7 different rarities. These cards add further depth to character build customization, making it possible to add more variety to your playstyle as each Skill has 2 Ravencards specifically designed for it.
Test Token Generation involves the conversion of Gold into $SBT every 24 hours. Gold is a currency to “measure your and the community’s impact in the game’s economy” and during this closed beta, the amount of $SBT you receive will depend on the percentage of total Gold you generated during those 24 hours, receiving a share of the pool allocated for that period. All of these are test tokens during this beta, and will be reset once the game officially launched.
