Planet Mojo introduces another grid-based battle game with playable avatars and NFTs made with Battle Stones. Over time, the game will evolve into the Mojoverse, where avatar NFTs are compatible with other games.
Players face off on an automated chess grid field and select champions based on attack and defense stats. Use buffs and magic stones to try to outlast your opponent. Planet Mojo also lets you upgrade your champions during matches to give you an edge. The first game mode to arrive will be Mojo Melee, a multiplayer idle match.
Fast-paced matches take place in two phases, where players choose champions and make last-minute upgrades. Teams then face off in idle battles or auto battles, with the best offense and defense winning the match.
Planet Mojo to Generate Cross-Compatible NFT
Planet Mojo also has long-term progression arcs in which players keep their avatars, build teams, and participate in ranked seasons. Planet Mojo will also introduce Battle Pass NFTs for exclusive events. The goal of the game is to pick the best team of champions, use spell stones to gain an advantage in live PvP battles, and upgrade your team with rewards.
The game’s NFTs also include mojo, which are basic planetary defenders.Discovering different types of mojo grants the player additional skills. These NFT use cases aren’t limited to just one game, and may extend across the Mojoverse.
Planet Mojo plans to sell more NFTs with additional land in Q2. As of now, the game is already listed on the Magic Eden NFT Marketplace, the primary marketplace for Solana-based games and his NFTs.
Planet Mojo is also one of the games supported and curated by Animoca Brands. The game has an ambitious roadmap with additional game modes and content added quarterly in 2023.
