Players can now create their favorite Papa John’s NFT pizzas that can be used to operate virtual food trucks in OneRare.
Here’s how to craft some delicious Papa Johns NFT pizzas
American pizza restaurant chain Papa Johns has teamed up with virtual food metaverse game OneRare to launch NFT Pizzas.
According to the announcement, the collection will include three artworks: Papa John‘s UAE’s fan-favorite Pizza, Super Papa’s, Spicy Chicken Ranch and Vegan Seas Garden Special. These NFTs are based on his Polygon network and can be found in his OneRare Kitchen, a gamified portal where users can purchase all the ingredients they need to create their own pizza.
Once you have collected all the ingredients, you can create your NFT pizza with OneRare. However, the recipe gets more complicated with each mint. The first recipe requires one of each item, the second requires two. The smart contract gets the Ingredients NFTs from the crypto wallet, burns them, then sends the NFT Dish to the wallet. According to OneRare, owners of Dish NFTs will be able to use them to run their own food trucks on OneRare’s Playground.
The partnership is also Papa John’s first entry into the Metaverse. Last year, the company released his collection of 19,840 NFT hotbags on his Tezos blockchain. The numbers indicate the year the company was founded (1984).
“Papa Johns is the first global pizza chain to join the OneRare Foodverse and we are just getting started!” wrote OneRare in a tweet. “At OneRare, we are building an ecosystem of apps and games to bring his $6 trillion F&B industry to his Web3, facilitating real-world community building and stakeholder ownership.”
Back in March, Nestlé’s popular instant noodle brand Maggi also launched its first NFT on OneRare. Like Papa John’s, Maggie’s offerings included classic delicacies from the company, such as Maggie Masalae Magic and Maggie Hot & Sweet, these exclusive his NFTs being shared by both companies has become a new way to interact with customers.
