The free-to-play mobile racing game is expected to launch in 2023, with the first NFT sales in the fourth quarter of this year.
Nitro Nation World Tour (NNWT) is joining the Mythical Games ecosystem
Blankos Block Party developer Mythical Games has announced its upcoming NFT game project – Nitro Nation World Tour – in partnership with CM Games, creators of the popular Nitro Nation franchise.
According to the announcement, NNWT will be based on the Mythos blockchain and feature game-making elements and licensed NFT cars from real-world brands. The blockchain title is also a free-to-play mobile racing game designed to bring top-notch gameplay and strong digital ownership to fellow racers.
Speaking of which, there are two main forms of NFT assets in Nitro Nation World Tour. The first is an upgradeable NFT car used in races, while the second is a workshop that can be used to improve the performance of the car, upgrade, repair, maintain, and rent or loan out cars in the game.
There are also multiple game modes in NNWT. For example, the campaign mode is a PvE game where players race to the top to unlock new cars and gain in-game currency. On the PvP side, there are various stakes races, such as low-stakes ghost races and high-stakes duels, to participate in. But be careful; there is a high chance of losing your valuable car in the high stakes races.
In addition to this, challenges and tournaments are held regularly in the game. Those who want to play with a guild can even join or form their own social club. By joining a club, individual members can upgrade their cars to a higher level cap, while enjoying other benefits such as renting or lending cars to other players and receiving more rewards than regular players.
According to its website, NFT workshops will be available in the fourth quarter of 2022, followed by NFT cars in early 2023. Owning a workshop guarantees access to the closed beta and exclusive airdrop rewards from the founders. The official game is expected to be released on mobile devices in 2023.
