Mojo Melee announces the first Mojo Bowl Invitational Tournament. With a special NFT for all participants and a prize pool of 5,000 USDC, the competition is fierce in this tournament!
Mojo Melee started a weekend alpha test a few months ago. Most recently, in December, we also held a small charity tournament. But now they’re ready to open the floodgates to a public tournament with his NFT and USDC as prizes!This tournament will take place over the weekend of February 11th and 12th in conjunction with community games. Held, with 256 players participating.
How to earn an invitation?
There are several ways to participate in your first Mojo Melee Bowl. The first is to play during the Open Qualifier weekend on February 4-5. The top spot on the leaderboard during that event will earn an invite, but we don’t know how many slots are still available from the qualifiers

The prize pool for the tournament is $5,000 USDC. Additionally, all participants will receive a free limited edition “Golden Mojo” NFT. Planet Mojo also mentions other rewards such as his PFP and badges in-game, as well as spots for future mints.
Mojo Melee playtests are still open today, and there will be other opportunities for practice in the coming weeks.
Mojo Melee Gameplay
In Mojo Melee, players build teams around Mojo characters. A Mojo Melee team consists of 1 Mojo unit, 4 Champion units, and 2 SpellStones.
Each team can bring up to 2 SpellStones into the match. Each Spellstone has a special ability. Spellstones he falls into three groups. Attachments, which are placed on units to provide Spellstone abilities, Offensive Spellstones, which are placed on the opponent’s side and affect enemy units within range, and Team Spellstones, which provide team him bonuses.
Mojo have access to different spellstones based on their subclass. Mojo is automatically deployed at the start of combat and provides passive bonuses to your team.
Each player receives 10 gold at the start of each round. Unspent gold carries over to the next round. During the preparation phase, players use gold to place units and spellstones on the battlefield. Players can upgrade their units and spellstones by purchasing additional copies and placing them on the same tile. A player can upgrade each entity up to his 3 times.
Once both players are ready, the game goes into auto-battle mode and continues until only one team remains. Each unit type has various stats such as health, armor, attack damage, target priority, and more. All of these affect the team’s behavior and outcome during the match.
Units have special abilities that activate when they get enough energy. Some heroes even start the match at full energy.
