Korean video game developer Wemade has teamed up with Metagravity to build the next generation of the Metaverse.
Wemade to further cement its position in the world of blockchain games
MIR4 developer Wemade has signed an MOU with London-based metaverse engine developer Metagravity. Based on this announcement, the partnership will see the duo build a unique gaming experience and a platform for people to interact and realize the vision.
Amazingly, the partnership came just after the Seoul Administrative Court ruled against the release of play-to-eating games in January. The decision came after the court confirmed that his in-game NFTs were encouraging speculative activity. However, these don’t seem to affect Wemade’s latest Web3 venture. That’s because the company officially launched He MIR M (the sequel to MIR 4) on January 31st.
Wemade’s crypto game is hosted on Wemix, a global blockchain gaming platform, powered by Wemix 3.0, a high-performance EVM protocol. Wemix 3.0 utilizes the platform’s native SPoA (Stake-based Proof of Authority) consensus model and is secured by 40 distributed authority nodes. These nodes are run by a global partner of the platform and his DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) of the on-chain community. With WEMIX3.0, Wemade aims to provide a secure and scalable solution for the Metagravity ecosystem.
