Mastercard, a global payment processor, has announced the Artist Accelerator program. This will allow you to create a Music Pass NFT for free for the first 3 weeks from launch.
Announced on April 12, the program consists of five emerging artists the company has teamed up to teach how to grow your brand with Web3. In doing so, the company is getting the public into the mix, giving everyone access to a wide variety of exclusive Web3 content that can only be unlocked by those who claim a free Music Pass NFT. This content includes not only teaching materials, but also the opportunity to create your own soundtrack using the AI-powered music tool Web3.
The five growing artists in this Web3-focused music program include R&B soul singer Young Athena. Latin Grammy Award-nominated Venezuelan singer and songwriter Manu Manzu. LeriQ is a Nigerian recording her artist with over 21,000 of her Spotify followers. Pop sensational pianist and guitarist Emily Vu, with her over 1.4 million Tik Tok followers, and Grammy and Emmy Award-winning singer-songwriter Cocoa, who has her three independent albums. Sarai. Mastercard has partnered with Polygon on its accelerator Web3 program. To claim NFT, you must create a Mastercard Artist Accelerator account. This also means that the NFTs will be stored in his own blockchain custody wallet, with the option to transfer the pass to his MetaMask wallet set to be available in the future.
