Here’s all you need to know about Magic Eden’s investment

Magic Eden Ventures, the VC arm of cross-chain NFT marketplace Magic Eden, has invested in 11 Web3 game studios. The latest announcement comes as blockchain games continue to attract investment despite the bear market.

According to Magic Eden, the latest move demonstrates the company’s commitment to moving the Web3 games industry forward. The NFT Platform recently appointed Chris Akhavan as Chief Gaming Officer and expanded into the Polygon network.

Magic Eden has invested in 11 game studios including Strider, Neowiz, Matchday, Bravo Ready, Epic League, Blockstars, Ring Games, Moonveil, Lucky Kat, Rooniverse, and Bunch. Among them are also the creators of very popular Web3 games such as BR1, Stella Fantasy and Panzerdogs.

“We are still at the beginning of what blockchain games will be. Experienced game studios building web3-enabled games are pioneering something special. Digital asset ownership and power. It’s a fun game with great economics that allows the community and creators to connect more with the game, and we love it,” said Chris Akhavan, Chief Gaming Officer at Magic Eden. “This is a powerful combination, and we look forward to continuing to support emerging game studios and help them achieve long-term success.”
