LG Launches Art Lab

LG Electronics has launched an NFT platform for its TVs. The platform, known as LG Art Lab, is now available in the U.S. and runs webOS on LG TVs that can be accessed directly through the home screen. Users can use this platform to purchase high quality digital artwork displayed on their TV screens prior to purchase.

This development shows a positive outlook for the NFT market as more companies continue to invest in the technology. It will also allow users to insist on enjoying the beauty of NFT artwork on their TV screens.

Features of the LG Art Lab

The platform can handle all the activities surrounding NFT transactions using LG TVs. In addition, it has the LG Art Lab drip feature that shows artist profiles and previews of new artworks that have not yet been released on the platform. It also includes a “live drop” meaning that just-released NFTs will be available for purchase by users.

The platform works on the Hedera network, arguably the most commonly used enterprise-level ledger in any decentralized economy. In addition, it incorporates QR codes that users can quickly scan and complete transactions with the company’s cryptocurrency wallet, Wallypto. This makes buying and selling on this platform easy and instant.

In a separate announcement, LG said the Utomik cloud gaming subscription service is now available on its TVs through the LG TV app. It will start in November and will cost between 8 and 13 euros.
