France-based cryptocurrency wallet company Ledger has partnered with The Sandbox to create Ledgerverse, which will help educate people about cryptocurrency security and learn how to protect their wallets in this era of cryptocurrency hacks and vulnerabilities. In addition, the partnership will introduce a game in The Sandbox called “Block School” that aims to bring awareness to the threats in the cryptocurrency world.
Players will fight hackers and scammers through this game to win exclusive rewards from NFT. The project is Ledger’s first metaspace initiative and will be created by The Sandbox and metaspace creative agency Swipe Back.
Ledgerverse is a virtual land in The Sandbox metaverse where players must navigate the map using their knowledge of cryptocurrency security.
Ledgerverse contains a series of adventures and quests. Through these, players will learn how to repel hackers in exchange for limited armor and shields. Educational modules in the form of games will give players exclusive rewards upon completion of each level.
Ledger believes that LedgerVerse will help promote the company’s vision of protecting digital assets and Cyber3 products. Upon completion of Ledger’s Block School, players will become “true cryptocurrency security gurus.”
