The game team is also working on the environments that will be rendered on Unreal Engine 5. Illuvium Remains Game with Strong DeFi Elements

The Illuvium community is somewhat divided because the game is promising, but the project is facing losses in terms of DeFi and ILV bets.

ILV has fallen to $89.81, erasing more value. The asset touched a peak above $1,800 in 2021 and held above the $500 level for several months. Now, ILV is expected to recover to levels seen since 2021, when the game was less popular.

ILV is hoping for a recovery after the Illuvium game launches in public beta and gains wider adoption.

Currently, ILV has the advantage of having a small number of tokens in circulation and a high betting volume. However, using ILV tokens with the game could be a very different story once the Illuvium universe and battles are in full swing.

Currently, the Illuvium game records about 37 smart contract interactions per day based on bets and NFT events on the blockchain. Illuvium still uses Ether and there is no hint of switching blockchains to scale to more players.
