Guild of Guardians Sandbox Challenge – Eye of Morax

The second stage challenge of the special, Guardians’ Guild adventure in Sandbox is coming to an end. Known as “The Eye of Morax”, players who complete the game on medium difficulty and submit the results have a chance to win Guardians Guild tokens (GOG)! It is not necessary to own Guardians Guild or Sandbox NFT. although you do need to join the GOG Discord and choose a faction to support.

Guardians Guild adventures in the sandbox, called “The Eye of Morax”, feature ongoing, earn-as-you-play challenges throughout the summer. We are currently in the second phase, which is on medium difficulty. Players completing the challenge will have the opportunity to share two prize pools for a total of 6,000 GOG tokens.

The challenge is found in the Sandbox GameMaker gallery and is titled “GOG HQ”. Unfortunately, Sandbox Maker still hasn’t implemented a search function, making their project listings nearly useless. In order to figure out where to find this experience, you’ll need to use this third-party search tool.

The Eye or Morax

In the Eye of Morax mission, players are tasked with knocking the ball into the lava while avoiding being killed by some aggressive skeletons. The Eye of Morax challenge is played in three stages, each more difficult than the previous one. The first stage, easy mode, has been completed. However, there is still time to try your hand at the medium difficulty challenge. And entries for the difficult challenge won’t open until August.

To earn rewards, players must link their wallets to IMX for token distribution. They must also join a faction of the Guardians Guild discussion forum. This is because the prizes are divided into pools and awarded to the faction with the highest participation score. The first prize pool consisted of 5,000 GOG tokens. The faction with the highest participation received 45% of the prize pool, with 100 GOG tokens allocated to 23 random winners from that faction. The second-place faction had 15 players awarded, while 12 players from the third-place faction also received 100 tokens. So, no matter which faction you choose, you still have a chance to get a nice token reward

In order to participate in the contest, players must complete “The Eye of Morax” on medium difficulty, take a screenshot of their victory screen, and submit their information on this form.

The second prize pool holds 1,000 GOG tokens. This contest is for individual performance. The top 10 players who can complete the task in the fastest time on medium difficulty will share the prize pool. Players must record their entire challenge, then tweet a link to the recording, a screenshot of the victory screen, add the hashtag #GOGxSANDBOX and tag @TheSandboxGame and @GuildofGuardian.

Players have until August 1 to submit entries for both challenges. Both prize pools will be refilled for the third round of challenges to be held in August. You can read the official announcement here.

Sandbox Play and Earn Events

Guild of Guardians Sandbox Challenge - Eye of Morax

It’s great to see Sandbox hosting Play and Earn Events in Season 1 and Season 2. But it’s even better to see third parties developing and publishing their sandbox experiences! That’s what Sandbox is all about, after all. After all, that’s what The Sandbox is all about.

Just recently, we had a Snoop Dogg game campaign, and now Guild of Guardians has joined the fun! In addition, many others have joined the bandwagon. There are also a number of smaller tournaments from different developers. I just recently found one on the official contest page of MOCA (Museum of Crypto Art). Not only is it a great opportunity to win free mSAND tokens, but I also saw a lot of cool artwork there.

However, the Sandbox Game Maker interface leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to finding a gaming experience. Most importantly, the lack of a search function that I mentioned earlier. It’s something that would make finding a specific experience infinitely smoother. So, Sandbox, please add a search function. I’ll bet a lot of experiences would have more visits.
