$GOG holders have until November 7 to place their tokens on Immutable X while meeting various other criteria in order to qualify for The Guild’s Treasure Active Staking program, in which 5 million tokens will be allocated to early backers of the blockchain mobile RPG.
Developer Stepico announced that they have partnered with Guardians Guild Limited to launch $GOG Active Staking for tokens of the blockchain mobile RPG Guild of Guardians.
This partnership means that $5 million $GOG has been pledged to the project, making it the largest $GOG allocation for early backers of the upcoming isometric title. The Guild’s Treasure Staking program will begin in November and rewards are scheduled to be paid out over a six-month period, so until May 2023, but the team notes that this program may eventually be changed.
Being an active stalker means holding $GOG in Immutable X. The longer the tokens are held there, the higher the rewards will be, and “tokens stalked in the first week of the program will start a streak within 12 months.” The team also said that “selling now and buying back later will not count towards this reward!”
Rewards for the program will begin to accrue on November 7, and the first payout to bettors will be sent out “along with full details of the program” sometime in December.
In order to qualify for the weekly active staking rewards, users must not only hold $GOG tokens in their IMX wallets, but those wallets must also have a Guild of Guardians NFT hero of rare or higher rarity. But that’s not all. There is at least one more criteria that must be met each week. Trade, Stash or Vote. The first includes buying or selling any GOG NFT, the second includes adding $GOG that already exists on the Immutable X wallet (tokens earned as wager rewards don’t count), and the last is an upcoming feature that will allow $GOG holders to use their tokens for governance votes.
Those who do not hold tokens on Immutable X should transfer them before rewards start accruing on November 7 AEDT.
