Whoever cracks the code and collects all 5 missing pages from the Alkali Crafting Book can redeem the prize at the Lab.
Genopets players can now craft recipe hunt rewards in the Legendary Lab
Move-to-get RPG Genopets finally opened the Legendary Lab for participants to claim their treasure hunt prizes. Originally scheduled for Tuesday, the launch was delayed due to the impact of Magic Eden temporarily suspending his SFT (semi-fungible Token) trading on his FTX.
Fortunately, these issues have now been resolved and Genoverse is back on track. According to the team, anyone who collects all five missing pages from the Alkaline Craft Notebook can start crafting prizes in the Legendary Lab.
Each craft in the Lab costs 5 GENE Tokens and 5 Genotype Crystals, with a randomized list of prizes. Eligible players can obtain valuable augments to enhance their pet’s abilities, or consumables that provide Genopets with double her energy boosts/unique color variations.
The biggest prize of all is the Legendary Ear Augment. It has a maximum supply of 300 and cannot be minted again. For those looking to increase availability, you can get multiple sets of the 5 recipe pages to make over and over again in the lab. Notably, all missing pages are now available in Magic Eden.
More about Augments in Genopets
At this time, players can only move and earn while taking care of their digital pets in Genopets. However, future blockchain titles will introduce turn-based combat systems in which augments play a key role.
According to its website, Augments are replaceable body parts that act as multipliers for Genopets’ basic stats and attributes. The rarer the augment, the stronger the multiplier.
As such, limited-edition augments, such as those offered in Treasure Hunts, are extremely popular in-game. Players who pick up any of them will surely gain the ultimate advantage over others in future RPG battles.
