David Singh, formerly of Clayton Global Group, has been appointed Head of APAC Operations for Immutable.
Klaytn’s ex-Global Head joins Immutable to drive business growth in Asia
Immutable, a leading Web3 gaming company, has appointed David Shin as its new head of business development for Asia Pacific (APAC), joining the interim head of the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
Prior to that, he was Head of Global Adoption at Klaytn, leading the global adoption of the Klaytn blockchain. He was also responsible for switching Klaytn’s growth strategy to focus on games and the metaverse.
“Asia is currently one of the most active regions in terms of adoption of web3 and blockchain technology in general. Having worked in these markets for many years, I am very excited to join Immutable, the leader in web3. It’s a game that always aims to be at the forefront of innovation and inclusion,” Singh said.
In his new role, Shin will focus on growing Immutable’s presence and onboarding game studios and developers in APAC and EMEA. As an active community builder who has helped establish numerous non-profit organizations in Asia, he also ensures proper engagement with local and regional officials regarding crypto and blockchain technology.
With over 15 years of experience in the banking industry, Singh is also a seasoned banker. His last role was Global Equity Derivatives and Repos at TD Bank where he was Head of Sales for Asia.
He then joined Bitcoin.com in 2019 as Head of Exchange, before being a founding member and head of TZ APAC, a Singapore-based team focused on Tezos blockchain adoption across the APAC region played a role as
Given his extensive expertise in the Asian market, Shin is considered the perfect candidate to drive Immutable’s expansion in Asia. He is, after all, one of the fastest growing regions in blockchain gaming adoption.
