DeFi Kingdoms Reveals Combat Keywords and Traits

The developers have shared a list of DeFi Kingdom‘s Combat pre-alpha keywords and genetic traits, with traits divided into active and passive, and further divided into four tiers: basic, advanced, elite, and exulted increase.

The DeFi Kingdoms team recently revealed the current keywords and genetic traits present in the pre-alpha version of Combat System. As a result, everything related to combat is subject to change as development progresses.

Combat keywords represent the definition of various actions, including the effects of abilities. As of this writing, there are 3 pages of keywords available, in which he can find meanings such as AOE, First Strike, Stun, Stacks, Mana Burn.

All heroes embody various genetic traits, which are divided into active and passive, and further divided into four different tiers: Basic, Advanced, Elite, and Exalted.

Active Traits cost no mana and can only be used once per battle. At the time of writing, 8 Basic, 4 Advanced, 2 Elite, and 1 Exalted Active his traits are listed. Abilities available include Heal, Daz, Stun, and Revive.

A hero’s passive traits, on the other hand, are active during combat while the hero is still alive. The effects of these traits are stackable, but some traits may limit the amount you can tolerate. Like active ones, these are also split into the same tiers with the same number of traits. Among them are Stalwart, Efficient and Leadership. Stalwart gives heroes a 40% chance to make him immune to Poison, Efficient reduces mana usage by 10%, and Leadership caps team-wide bonuses to 15% while giving allies a 5% chance.
