The Decentraland team has announced a new competition just in time for the winter break. Ugly Sweater Wearable Contest.
Starting December 1st and ending at 7am UTC on December 19th, the contest has interests in creating seasonal “ugly holiday sweater” wearables for the Decentraland metaverse. Anyone can apply.
Judges will evaluate entries based on the following criteria: originality, quirkiness, fun, and how the submission “represents a winter/holiday theme and the idea of an ‘ugly holiday sweater'”. How well do you get it? Creative Director Sam Hamilton, Art Director Shibu, Community Manager PeanutButta and Creative Copywriter Tillandsia.
There will be prizes for the top 10 participants, with 800 $MANA for 1st place and 600 $MANA for each of the remaining spots. In addition to tokens, the winner will also be able to feature their work on her official Decentraland Twitter account. A participant can submit up to 3 wearables, but he can only win 1. Each wearable submitted must be approved and published on the Decentraland marketplace by the contest deadline. Prizes will be sent to the wallet address linked to the wearable published on the official marketplace.
