According to the game’s official website minting page, the total supply of Gladiator NFTs is 10,000. As of this writing, a total of 1969 NFTs have been minted so far. That means there’s still a lot you can get for a minting price of 100 USDC per NFT.
In this NFT title, matchmaking, loot, and combat are randomized using Chainlink’s technology, as players use Gladiator to battle in two different arenas: the Training Ground and Cyber Stadium. The former is a risk-free, non-persistent arena where you battle other players to earn loot boxes containing gear to equip your gladiators, the ones given to the winner are more likely to drop good items than the loot boxes given to the losing player.
The other is a staking-based arena called Cyber Stadium. This is permadeath mode. In other words, losing burns the NFT, adding an element of risk to RNG-based titles. However, both winners and losers will receive their share of the total prize pool which at the time of writing contains around 205,000 USDC.
