The new development update includes upgraded 3D enemy models, new skills, skill icons and more NFT titles that blend top-down shooter and grand strategy elements.
Adria Games, the team behind Crypto Mayhem, a top-down shooter on the BNB chain, released a version 1.11 development update for their blockchain game this week.
The new update includes various new 3D models of enemy aliens, such as those seen above. But the visual facelift isn’t the only upgrade these creatures have received – they also now have an artificial intelligence system that makes them all act in a variety of different ways.
There are also new skill icons, and over 5 actual new skills for the player’s mech NFTs to use. These include the Carpet, an AOE attack; the Radar skill, which shows the location of enemies, but also some more creative skills like Goliath, which allows players to place a trap vehicle to go in a certain direction, lure enemies, and blow themselves up when they are within a certain radius.
Also added is a spare tank for storing more biomass, the fuel that powers all of the player’s mech’s actions. For more information, check out the official media post.
The blockbuster game will be playable on PC through a web browser and will feature isometric shooters but also elements of the grand strategy genre, allowing players to purchase land NFTs, making it possible to trade and collect various resources used to create mechs and more. The first half of the game also contains various resources found in various action-packed missions that can be played individually or cooperatively.
