Players in the multi-chain metaverse will soon be able to create artificial monsters, i.e. stronger versions of Genesis monsters using several wild monsters and the necessary types.
The developers of Blockchain Monster Hunt revealed information about the upcoming breeding feature for their NFT metaverse in a recent Medium article.
By using the ingredient system, players will be able to breed artificial monsters by using the required ingredients listed in the recipe. Artificial monsters are stronger versions of Genesis monsters with a “higher bonus factor”. Each Artificial Monster requires a certain type of Genesis Monster. The most powerful Artificial Monsters require GS2, the rest require GS1. If the level of the Genesis Monsters is too low, then they risk eventually being burned to death. If they manage to survive, then their level will be reset to 1. The minimum level required for a creation monster to avoid being burned will be revealed later.
Along with reproduction comes Monster Essence, a new feature unique to wild monsters. According to the game’s monster element system, wild monsters can produce 10 different types of essences. It is possible for a wild monster to have more than 1 type of essence, depending on the species and genus group in question, generating essence points based on species and monster level, with higher level wild monsters being able to generate more essence points. The number of wild monsters, and the type needed to create a recipe for an artificial monster are not shown, but the player can put in up to 5 wild monsters, all of which will be burned during the breeding process.
Starting the breeding process with fewer essence points reduces the chances of successfully creating artificial monsters, and if the process fails, the monsters will still end up being burned.
Blockchain Monster Hunt is a multi-chain meta-god available on the BNB chain, the Ethereum network, Polygon and Moonbeam. An update was released earlier this month that introduced non-NFT items.
