Treeverse fans will soon get their first glimpse of gameplay in the vast world of the continent of Arboros.
Endless Clouds is releasing Treeverse pre-Alpha by Q4
Treeverse, an upcoming blockchain MMORPG from Endless Clouds, will launch as a pre-Alpha in the fourth quarter of this year. the team has confirmed such a release in their latest monthly update.
Many have been anxiously waiting to try out the fantasy title since Treeverse’s combat trailer was revealed in July. In particular, the top-down, open-world, classless mobile MMORPG will feature plenty of social elements and cooperative gameplay.
“For the past month, the art team has been working heavily on production for the pre-alpha. We’ve settled on most of the visuals and have a pretty clear idea of what everything within the Treeverse world should look like,” said Scott, art director for Endless Cloud.
According to Scott, grasslands, trees and caverns are some of the landscapes that have been present in earlier versions of Treeverse. These landscapes will be used as the base theme to build a vibrant open world later on. On the other hand, the designers are polishing the combat system to allow players to enjoy some kick-ass moments in the game.
“In order to establish and implement the connection between all in-game systems and world lore design, designers have been focusing on the integration of system functionality, data and layout performance during August,” said Max, lead game designer at Treeverse.” For example, the forging and recasting system, the game’s primary system, gets a lot of connections to other systems and builds Treeverse’s complete gameplay cycle.”
There’s no mistaking that this ambitious project aims to compete with the likes of World of Warcraft and RuneScape. At launch, Treeverse will be free-to-play, allowing players to build and battle as they explore the vast continent of Arboros.
