Axie Infinity Homeland Alpha Season 3 reveals a new PvP feature called SpyX, Land Delegation, 5,000 $AXS leaderboard rewards, and more.
Axie Infinity Homeland Alpha Season 3 officially kicks off today, June 21st, with 5,000 $AXS in leaderboard rewards available until July 26th.
Next to governance tokens, players will also have the chance to earn new seasonal achievements alongside badges, plot decorations, and limited-time avatars.
A significant addition to this season compared to previous seasons is the introduction of a new feature called SpyX.
SpyX is a new PvP feature that allows players to steal leaderboard points from each other using a stealth lagoon. Lagoons are creatures that you can send as spies to your enemies. This is done by finding the desired parcel of land and clicking a button to monitor the parcel. The button opens a screen where you can select the type of spy you want to send, which seems to be the best disguise to blend in well with the enemy adventurer. If a player unknowingly uses your lagoon, the battle his points earned by the player are actually yours for using the Spy.
Of course, the same thing could happen to you, so be careful when choosing adventurers. If you think you’ve found a spy, you can pay a fee to investigate that particular person, and you have the option to deport them if they were in fact a spy.
In addition to this new feature, land delegation is now live, allowing landowners to delegate their parcels to other players, and new players without land to play and join this third season.
