Axie Infinity has made a major update to its marketplace, improving access to the app and increasing trading activity. The long-awaited update will be accompanied by a relisting of all Axies and stricter listing and pricing rules.

The marketplace will be rebranded as Axie.App and will focus on revealing more activity and opportunity data. With millions of unsold Axies, new players may be confused about value and advantages, as well as resale opportunities.
New changes will include special tagging of Axies from limited collections, which have proven to be of higher value. For breeders, Axie.App will provide more detailed records of recessive genes to create more transparent breeding programs with desired traits.
For resellers, Axie.App will bring a more intuitive listing process with zero cost for the first relisting. As the app continues to improve, market rules may change with new upgrades.

Axie Infinity has finally reached the long-awaited date for the Barcelona meet and tournament.
The Barcelona meet will officially kick off after September 7 and will include the second part of the Axie Classic tournament. Players will meet in person and participate in a tournament with a prize pool of $500,000.
