Aurory Shares Info on New Season Structure & Launch Time of Village Update

The new season structure for Aurory tactics makes the season last longer. We have plans to introduce a new rank decay mechanism to help players stay active and maintain their place on the leaderboards for the long season, which will last about three months.

The Aurory team shared some exciting news with their fans regarding the season structure changes and upcoming village updates. The team has announced plans for a new season structure following the conclusion of Tactics Alpha Season 3.

The new season structure features longer seasons lasting about three months to give developers enough time to create new content for each season. This new content includes “new and unique” rewards such as Nefties, according to the official tweet revealing the information. The new season will also coincide with a new tactics build to ensure a fresh feel to the start of every new season of the turn-based JRPG.

To encourage players to stay active and maintain their position on the leaderboards, the team is working on a new rank decay mechanic. The team is also looking at other elements, such as repeated competitive events at the end of each season and early access to new builds for select Aurorian owners.

Additionally, Aurory hinted at a new patch for Tactics (0.2.9). The update will release on his March 28th and will bring improved matchmaking, new cinematic camera tools, and more. The team is committed to releasing The Village: Prologue to Adventures as soon as possible. With some necessary tweaks, the team is currently looking at an early access release in late April. Our original goal was to release by the end of the first quarter, so we’re a few weeks behind schedule.

Earlier this month, Solana-based titles added a new Neftie rarity system and Incubator 2.0.
