Galactic Hubs Grant, Planetary DAOs, The Thunderdome, and more from Alien Worlds

Alien Worlds is a very popular NFT metadata game where everything is tokenized on the Ether, WAX, and BNB smartchains. In Alien Worlds’ simulated economy, players compete for scarce resources, including NFTs and in-game tokens.

We are a token tuple for the NFT , DAO tuple. Soon, our DAO will be live. They have been technically active in building up the treasury since the game launched, and soon we will be inviting the public, players and community to come in and run for governance to manage the planetary DAO resources, and those who use the tools provided by Dacoco (the company that publishes the alien worlds) and the alien worlds themselves.

What is the Galactic Hubs Grant ?

Alien Worlds supports and funds projects that enable communities and alien world ecosystems to thrive. The Galactic Hubs Grant is one such initiative.

As part of the overall spirit of embracing the community, we want to support community members who want to come into our meta-space and improve it or take advantage of it in some way. We have a range of different grants available. Resources for ideas from the community to expand and make the Metaverse ecosystem strong in the alien world.

What can you tell us about the planetary DAOs?

Each planet in the alien world is a tokenized decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) with a dedicated membership client portal for planet token holders to vote for their trustees and allocate Trillium and NFT traffic.

Soon they will be able to involve players in the governing community. trustees and other players in the DAO can stake their trillium and receive a planetary token in return, depending on which planets they have for each, which gives them voting rights. They then have a bet-weighted vote, which is how the trustees of each DAO are elected to manage it.

Once that happens, they have a treasury at their fingertips. They can all decide as a community how to allocate those resources, which could be a community back to all the players in that DAO. What is done is entirely up to the community.
