Arc8, a blockchain arcade gaming platform, and Planet IX, a crypto sci-fi strategy game, have teamed up to host a new Token Takeover.
Top-ranking players will receive $5,000 in prizes, including IXT tokens, Planet IX Arcade NFTs, and Starter Packs containing Planet IX land parcels. According to the announcement, there are two tournament types on Arc8 where players can earn rewards during the event. Prizes will be awarded based on leaderboard rankings, so players should always strive for their best scores.
From March 16th to 23rd, players can compete in the free-to-play sponsored Run! tournament for Arcade NFTs and Starter Packs. The top 20 players will receive an Arcade NFT, with the top 2,000 receiving a Starter Pack. To qualify for these rewards, players must pair their crypto wallets with Arc8 via the official website here. Arcade NFTs will be airdropped to the linked wallets, and winners can claim their Starter Packs here.
In the second tournament, players will have the opportunity to earn $2,000 in IXT across all 13 core games on Arc8. Tournament fees will be charged in GMEE, Arc8’s native token that can be earned from daily log-ins or other in-game tournaments. All IXT rewards will be deposited to players’ in-app wallets.
